Athens Kraftwerk

Analyzing city blocks within Psirri, a neighborhood in Athens, Greece, this project renovates an existing abandoned structure to provide low-income housing and elderly care to Athens locals. Power stations, water collection systems, and passive design elements help refinance low rent housing. Collaborators: Felix Siegler, Michael Kramer, Jonathan Zemple

Site model and analysis of selected block's buildings. Surrounding buildings had tourist centric program such as accommodation, cafes, restaurants, and bars.
Elderly assistance programs in relation to Psirri. Many are far away and less accessible to Psirri residents.
Proposals for "Kraftwerk" concept in Psirri, allowing low rent housing and sustainable living, as well as elder care facilities.
Proposals for four different situations where "lift-off" towers could be built and gradually developed to add housing and community services.
